Restructuring & renovation of a 1960s apartment

Ce bel appartement ancien, appartenant à la même famille depuis 3 générations, n’avait pas été rénové depuis plus de 40 ans. Hérité par la petite fille, c’est en duo avec sa maman, qui connaissait parfaitement l’endroit pour y avoir vécu pendant son enfance, que cette dernière a décidé de réhabiliter et restructurer ce bien d’exception.
Les maîtres mots de cette rénovation ont été d’apporter modernité, confort, lumière et fraicheur. L’architecte d'intérieur a donc décider de fluidifier les zones de passage en jouant au maximum sur les ouvertures, notamment au niveau de l’entrée, du salon et de la cuisine.
L’architecte d’intérieur a créé une harmonie élégante et chaleureuse sur des tonalités mêlant le bleu canard au noir & gris, ainsi que le blanc et le jaune safran.
L’ensemble du mobilier et de la décoration ont été trouvé pendant les journées shopping, et se marient avec goût aux nouvelles matières et couleurs définies par le projet.
This beautiful historic apartment, belonging to the same family for three generations, had not been renovated for over 40 years. Inherited by the granddaughter, she decided, together with her mother, who knew the place perfectly from her own childhood, to rehabilitate and restructure this exceptional property.
The key aspects of this renovation were to bring modernity, comfort, light, and freshness. The interior designer therefore decided to streamline the circulation areas by maximizing openings, particularly in the entrance, living room, and kitchen.
The interior designer created an elegant and warm harmony using tones that mix teal, black & gray, as well as white and saffron yellow.
All the furniture and decoration pieces were sourced during shopping days and tastefully combined with the new materials and colors defined by the project.
